Call for Submissions: Symphony Amore

Well, it’s official. In 2017, I’ll be able to add “editor” to my name. I am beyond stoked to announce that I’ll be working with the publisher, Sexy Little Pages, on a new anthology of erotica. This anthology is near and dear to my heart, and I hope there are writers who are excited to submit to the anthology.

Without further ado, I’d like to present Symphony Amore: Erotic Stories of Love and Music.

Submission Deadline: 3rd April 2017
Word Count: 3000-5,000

“Musical notes and rhythm were first acquired by the male or female progenitors of mankind for the sake of charming the opposite sex.” – Charles Darwin, The Descent of Man

Musicians are a unique breed. They are diligent, mysterious, talented, and sometimes irritating with their artistic tendencies. Still, no matter what instrument they play or type of music they produce, they are irresistible. Music is the universal language of humans, and we always respond to it.

For this anthology, I want your steamiest stories about musicians. I want more than just the typical rock-god: I’m interested in the nerdy kid who grew up to be a wildly sexy string bass player, or a quietly gorgeous timpanist, or a shy yet determined alto singer auditioning for a spot on Broadway.

I want interesting, erotic encounters with good character and plot development; sex shouldn’t be a placeholder for plot. HEA and HFN endings with clear closure are paramount. Most importantly, I want to see different races and sexualities represented in these stories. The more diverse the collection, the better.

No-No’s – incest, bestiality, underage, rape, body- and slut-shaming. These stories are to be both sex and body positive. All characters must be over the age of 18.

Feel free to email EroticOrchestra@gmail.com with any questions. I am looking forward to reading the submissions!
